Polylactic acid (PLA), a biodegradable film that is bio-based rather than traditional oil-based, is made from corn, cassava, and other crops. It is obtained by microbial fermentation and extraction to obtain lactic acid, which is then refined, dehydrated, and oligomerized, pyrolyzed, and polymerized. PLA has excellent biodegradability and can be completely degraded by microorganisms in the soil within one year after disposal, producing CO2 and water, and does not pollute the environment. PLA itself is an aliphatic polyester. It has the basic characteristics of general-purpose polymer materials, has good mechanical processing properties, low shrinkage, and is suitable for most synthetic plastics.
PLA film is mainly used for food packaging and electronic element packaging.
As a leading China professional PLA film supplier and manufacturer, Chintec is holding three advanced producing lines, yielding thickness from 25μm (0.025mm/1.0mil/25micron) to 100μm (0.1mm/4.0mil/25micron).
we are committed to serving very good price biodegradable PLA film while maintaining high product quality, passing the certificates of OK Compost.
